The Lead Machine Learning (ML) Engineer in Data Assets Management and Data Engineering (DAM) is fundamental for Roche to achieve this vision and is focused on overseeing ML engineering and corresponding system architecture to effectively and efficiently deliver all advanced analytics business needs through MLOps systems, databases, applications, and other technologies.
The Lead ML Engineer is a member of the DAM lead engineering team and contributes to and implements the best practices on ML engineering for the Roche GPS organization, to create a data-driven backbone, powering cutting-edge digital solutions with advanced analytics. T
he Lead ML Engineer is accountable for shaping the ML engineering that critically enables digital operations across different affiliates and applications. As such, the Lead ML Engineer will play a key role in driving digital transformation for Roche and its affiliates.
The Lead ML Engineer will lead a global team focused on developing the MLOps -solution, guiding corresponding engineering efforts, and ensuring advanced analytics insights for business usage.
This team is responsible for delivering data & insights for broader Roche Affiliates, and leading data & analytics enhancement initiatives to meet business needs, and shaping data consumption for streamlined operations and data analytics. The team also serves as a center of excellence for engineering best practices across Roche affiliates, working regularly with other functions across Roche, IT, and other stakeholders.
