Your field of responsibility

In this role, you will head and provide the overall leadership to our Learning Technology and Analytics team.

  • You are the key interface between the business (learning professionals) and our IT partners regarding all learning tool applications and interfaces and work closely with our external vendor.
  • You provide the technical direction on business decisions for our learning function and be responsible to maintain and develop our learning tool infrastructure, applications, and interfaces.
  • For Learning Analytics, you will oversee the day-to-day analytical approaches and explore solutions.
  • You will also act as data steward for learning data and be responsible of data architecture, management, and long-term prioritization of the business`s overall learning analytical needs and opportunities.
  • Furthermore, you will encourage innovation and improvements in our technology and data systems, processes, and way of working.
  • You will be required to take strategic oversight of critical projects and execute strategic planning for the system landscape of our learning function, the reporting and analytic systems, but also ensure a smooth BAU release cycle for all learning tools.

Your future colleagues

  • The team, you will lead, acts as Learning Technology Subject Matter Experts and is product owner for several learning tools and our Learning Management System. You will also be part of strategic programs and projects across the bank.
  • You will closely collaborate with other Learning Experts, but also with IT, HR Business Partners, HR Transformation and People Development Management members.
  • You will become part of the Digital Learning Management Committee and report directly into the Head Digital Learning and Learning Operations.
  • This position offers remote working opportunities for an agreed amount of days per week.

Your skills and experience


You’ll be a good match, if you have:

  • Ability to execute strategic planning for the system landscape development regarding systems, reporting and analytics
  • Strong project management skills and experience in software development and maintenance processes (release cycle management, change management)
  • Ability to discuss software development and maintenance as well as database topics on a low level with engineers but also to communicate technical information in non-technical language on a high/strategic level with the management
  • Professional know-how of HR IT systems, ideally SABA LMS, Oracle Learning Management and Degreed, as well as knowledge of SCORM, AICC and Tin Can communication standards and systems used for virtual facilitation like Teams, Zoom, Mural, Miro etc.
  • Know-how of web technologies (e.g., .NET, HTML, Javascript, CSS), webservice technologies (API, JSON) and respective infrastructure (IIS, Windows Server)
  • Broad experience with database technologies (Microsoft SQL), including Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, ETL processes (incl. SSIS as well as PowerShell-based bulkloads) as well as Cloudera Stack
  • Experience with data analysis, preferable regarding HR-/person-based data, know-how in the respective technologies and language (Power BI, DAX, R, Python)
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and leadership skills
  • Fluency in English (German is a plus)
  • Highly organized and structured work style, ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high attention to quality and details
